ENGL 101 - Introduction to the Study of Literature
This course introduces students to four literary genres: short fiction, poetry, the novel, and drama. Students learn the fundamentals of university-level literary study and explore major themes suggested by the selected texts.
Note: "Self-paced" means the timing of your activities on the course site and work on your assignments are at your convenience. The online section will require weekly contributions and regular visits to the course site.
Prerequisite: English 12 (min. 65%) or EAP/ENGL 060 (min. B-).
