WO 016 - Cross Connection Control Awareness
This 1 day course is intended to provide the participants with an overview of cross connection control.
The main objective of the course is to provide knowledge and awareness to operators regarding cross connections, legalities, hazard classifications, and methods of preventing backflow conditions pertaining to the protection of drinking water supplies.
The information in this course is not intended to be used as a sole source of information for a Cross Connection Control Program.
This course is especially recommended for water & wastewater operators and is relevant to health professionals, supervisors, technicians and homeowners involved and/or interested in water systems.
Accepted for 0.6 CEUs by EOCP as Core for WD, WT, SWS, BWD, WWC, WWT, SWWS.
