WGST 202 - Women in Indigenous Societies
This course provides students with a detailed overview of women's lives and experiences in indigenous societies in Canada and in other parts of the circumpolar world. Indigenous women's roles in past and present societies are examined and future roles are discussed.
Prerequisite(s): ENGL 100 and WGST 100 and one of either ANTH 140 or HIST 140 and one of either SOCI 100 or SOCI 103. Students without these prerequisites may be admitted with adequate alternative preparation and permission of the instructor. Contact Liberal Arts for advice.
