To buy a hand-made wool parka is an expensive purchase. What if you can make your own and walk away with the knowledge and confidence to make them for your family too? You must have advanced sewing skills to take this course. You will choose from two patterns provided or some of you may have a pattern you have been saving for instruction. The parka will be made with wool duffel and lined with flannel backed satin. These materials and all notions will be part of your tuition. You will learn how to cut and install fur but if you choose to have it on your parka, you must provide your own (recycled fur is fine too). This will be a full and intensive course designed so that you finish your parka completely by the end. NOTE: Registration by October 1st in order to get the supplies in time.
