PADM 635 - Natural Resources Policy

This course analyzes the essentials of public policy, including policy making process, institutions and players, historic and current issues and trends, as well as the relationship of policy to administration. The focus of analysis is natural resource policy (e.g. timber, wildlife, water and recreation) with attention to modern environmental issues (e.g. air and water quality, waste, acid rain, biodiversity). Special attention is given to issues relevant to Yukon and Alaska.
