NURS 1102 - Applied Pharmacology

The pharmacokinetics of medications, the rationale for their use and the expected results of therapy are discussed in this course, along with the development of critical thinking skills to assess the need for, and patient response to medication. Practical nurse competencies, scope of practice and legal responsibilities are also emphasized in this course.
