CONSCIOUS AGING: THE NEXT CHAPTER EXPLORE AND DEVELOP YOUR ELDER ROLE
This retreat is designed for those who have taken the Introduction to Conscious Aging and are interested in:
• Furthering the inner work they have started;
• Reflecting on conscious aging through discussion with others;
• Strengthening your path to aging with passion and purpose;
• Supporting the development of conscious aging opportunities for others in the community.
Our goal is that you leave inspired, motivated and committed to further exploring your path to your conscious elderhood.
Retreat facilitators: Larry Gray and Dr. Susan Manning; both are members of the Colorado based Center for Conscious Eldering.
Larry is an Environmental Studies instructor at Yukon College. He has facilitated an Elder Wisdom Circle in Whitehorse; and is a Research Affiliate with the Institute for Aging and Lifelong Health at the University of Victoria.
Susan is a Professor Emerita, Graduate School of Social Work, University of Denver. Dr. Manning’s teaching and research interests included professional ethics, civic leadership and moral identity, and client empowerment in mental health systems. She has led Conscious Elder retreats in the Yukon and the United States.
