This course is delivered by Klinic from Winnipeg, MB and local experts in compassion fatigue and vicarious trauma.

The 3 components of this course are: 1. Trauma-Informed Counselling and Care, which focuses on enhancing capacity of organizations and individual clinicians to deliver trauma-informed services and individual counselling; 2. Trauma in the Yukon Context, which focuses on events in Yukon’s history and some of the impacts on First Nations people; and, 3. Vicarious Trauma and Compassion Fatigue, which focuses on the impacts and implications of client traumas on frontline service providers/counsellors, and strategies for awareness, support and response.
