HET 102 - Hydraulic Brake Systems
This course introduces the student to hydraulic principles and basic systems, foundation and hydraulic brakes, hydraulic ABS and parking brakes, and wheel end components. Hydraulic principles as applicable to hydraulic systems and hydraulic brakes are discussed, as well as the various system components found on heavy equipment. Types of foundation brake assemblies and wheel end components common to the trade are investigated. Students will work on related training aids as well as various brake and hydraulic systems as available.
