GEOG 190 - Intro to Geography of Canada
Examines how places and regions are created and how they operate in a globalizing world. Concepts, theories and frameworks are examined through the interaction between the natural, physical and human features of Canada's regions, especially the North. The course highlights the dynamic nature of relationships between humans and place, and encourages students to cultivate their "geographic imaginations" and realize the importance of geographic knowledge today.
