ENCS 352 - Natural Resources and Environmental Law
Overview of the fundamental principles and concepts of natural resource and environmental law in Canada and Yukon, including these have evolved over time as societal values of governing institutions change in response to a changing environment. It will also explain how policy decisions about the environment are translated into enforceable laws, and the roles of the courts, First Nations, municipalities, and the public in making such polices and laws.
Prerequisite: Registration in the B.Sc. in Environmental and Conservation Sciences program.
