We are looking for a creative, engaging, and high-energy leader, with experience developing and executing comprehensive business development plans, events, and marketing and communication plans. As the Manager, Professional Programs you will lead the Business Development and Contract Training Unit in the Continuing Studies division. You will be responsible for coordinating and implementing business-generating activities and events that contribute to the mission, strategic directions, goals and objectives of Yukon University. Reporting to the Department Head, Continuing Studies, you will also be responsible for achieving the department’s annual financial goals.
The ideal candidate will have a relevant Master’s degree with experience in business development, client relationship management, contract and budget management. You will have experience developing and adapting non-credit and micro-credential programs. You will also have exceptional communication and organizational skills as well as experience leading and managing teams in a unionized environment, ideally in post-secondary education.
Candidates with an acceptable combination of education and experience may also be considered.
