We’re looking for a creative, high-energy leader with experience in community engagement and fundraising. As Manager, Alumni & Advancement, you will work with a small, dedicated team, and an engaged foundation, to advance the university’s priorities and goals by cultivating and nurturing a culture of philanthropy with the Yukon University community and across the territory.

The ideal candidate has exceptional communication and relationship-building skills to work with prospective and current donors and volunteers. Yukon University’s Development Office advances the mission of YukonU by raising support and building relationships with a broad range of participants ranging from alumni and friends, to corporations and foundations.

Reporting to the Associate Vice President, University Relations, this is a position with varied and competing demands. You have strong diplomacy skills to deal with multiple, competing expectations.

You have a relevant Bachelor’s degree (ideally a Master’s) and experience in managing budgets and people. You also possess experience with fundraising, ideally in post-secondary education. To assist your ability to function effectively, you possess knowledge of Yukon’s Indigenous cultures and governments.

Candidates with an acceptable combination of education and experience may also be considered.  Secondments may be considered.
