The Administrative Assistant position is responsible for providing and monitoring a broad range of support services, primarily administrative and relational in nature. This includes communications (students, division team, YukonU), human resources, finance, administrative services, and other related duties to enable the division to serve its clients effectively and fulfil its mandate within Yukon University.
Qualifications include a certificate in office or business administration, communications, or equivalent and with related office experience. Applicants will have the ability to multi-task various office procedures including basic bookkeeping, Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and customer service. The ideal candidate must have a working knowledge and understanding of working in a cross-cultural environment. The position utilizes Banner and FAST regularly for a variety of tasks so proficiency in the use of data-systems would be considered an asset.
