Salary: $45.03 to $54.79 per hour
(Based on 75 hours bi-weekly)

Reporting to the Department Head, School of Trades, this position is responsible for instruction in the Construction Carpentry field. The incumbent will train and supervise students in Pre-apprenticeship and apprenticeship level programs.
Duties include: Teaching Pre-apprenticeship Carpentry and Levels 1/2/3/4, depending on annual schedule. Collaborating with other staff and faculty regarding shop layouts, tool care and replenishment, shop upkeep and renewal. Serving on institutional committees as and when appropriate.
The ideal candidate will have a post-secondary education, strong communication skills, and have a collaborative approach to problem solving. Experience in coordinating educational/training programs, developing and/or managing budgets and finances would be an asset. A Red Seal in the Carpentry trade is required.
Candidates with an acceptable combination of education, training and experience may also be considered.
