|2015-16||Yukon University/YukonU selected as official name of new institution.
Program and services review, university transition budget, and YC socio-economic impact study.
|2016-17||Development of external quality assurance (QA) process with Yukon government, submission to external QA Board, and development of a variety of integrated operational plans.|
|2017-18||Launch of Climate Change and Public Policy post-graduate certificate.
Campus Alberta Quality Council recognizes Yukon College as academically and organizationally ready to deliver and sustain high-quality undergraduate degrees.
Yukon Government Regulation passed to offer Bachelor of Arts in Indigenous Governance.
Yukon University campaign plan developed.
|2018-19||Launch of Bachelor of Arts in Indigenous Governance – the first made-in-Yukon degree program developed in collaboration with all 14 Yukon First Nations.
Development of Yukon University brand.
|2019-2020||Launch of Bachelor of Business Administration.
Yukon University Act passed by Yukon Legislative Assembly.
Official launch of Yukon University.
Implementation of Yukon University brand across all campuses.
First graduates of the Bachelor of Arts in Indigenous Governance.
|2020-21||Academic Council becomes the Senate, establishing bi-cameral governance.
Installation of new president and vice chancellor.
Board of Governors expands membership to align with new legislation.
Joint Accountability framework established with Government of Yukon and Yukon First Nations.
Development of the first Yukon University Strategic Plan and Academic Plan.
