ANTH 103 - Introduction to Archaeology
Archaeology is the study of the human story through the excavation of sites and the analysis of artifacts and other physical remains. The concepts, theories, and methods of archaeology are examined. Students develop an appreciation of how archaeology contributes to the understanding of the development of human societies. One hour of weekly class time will involve hands-on, experiential lab work.
